TestHuset is joining the Annual Testing Conference

Meet Us at the DSTB Conference – Thursday, June 14, 2018

On June 14, 2018, DSTB is once again hosting its annual testing conference at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen. TestHuset will be there with a booth, where you’re welcome to stop by for a professional discussion about software testing and quality assurance.

This year, our focus is on early testing and how to prevent defects, rather than simply becoming better at detecting them. We’ve invited a panel of experts to join us at the conference, who will speak directly to this theme in their session:
“It’s Never Too Early to Test”.
After the session, you’ll have the opportunity to continue the conversation with the experts at our booth.

New Launches at Our Booth

As is tradition, TestHuset will use this occasion to unveil several new initiatives at the conference.
If you can’t attend, don’t worry—you’ll find all the announcements on our website the following day.

It’s Never Too Early to Test

Early Testing. Early Feedback. Shift Left…
Many names, one clear goal: validating earlier to avoid problems later.

There’s broad consensus that we must escape the burden of bloated testing phases that pile up at the end of development cycles—phases that not only become overwhelming but often grow messier the closer we get to release.

We need to move away from that.
And with the majority now deeply embedded in agile transformations—emphasizing frequent, smaller releases—the window for testing at the tail end of sprints or just before go-live becomes increasingly limited.

So, no turning back—testing needs to move forward in the process.

While test automation was once hailed as the ultimate solution, it hasn’t been the silver bullet many hoped for.

So, what now?

We must change our mindset. Instead of focusing solely on finding bugs, we should become better at not introducing them in the first place.
Because: It’s never too early to test.

Panel Discussion: A Practical Look at Early Testing

Alongside our CTO, Roland Møller, we’ve invited three experts to join us on stage. Together, we’ll explore a range of practical approaches to integrating testing from the very start of development.

This is about proactive behavior—not just reactive risk mitigation.

We’ll explore questions like:

  • How early can you test?

  • Can you test an idea?

  • A vision? A strategy?

  • A design—and if so, how?

  • What does it mean for testers to be proactive?

  • Can technology help?

  • How do we involve the customer early—and ensure we don’t lose sight of them?
